Hope nobody will insult Hawking that he does “mathemagics”. Also hope that nobody will refuse to engage in his research just because physics with its two Millenia is a bit more abstract than the rather young (231 yrs) – but already old-fashioned and demonstrably superseded – biology of “genes and junk”.
